Brian is fully experienced in both coal and non-coal mines rescue.

Full five or ten day training courses of basic initial training (depending on your mine type and national regulations), followed by top up refresher training to your requirements.

The course is both theoretical and "hands on". Course topics include the use and maintenance of breathing apparatus, oxygen therapy, fire fighting, stretcher procedures, extended First Aid, gas monitoring and Rescue procedures.

Candidates should (ideally) have at least two years underground experience and be aged between 25 and 45 and hold a current First Aid certificate. Contact us if you wish to discuss the entry criteria (in confidence).

All candidates will need to have a full medical prior to training and then annual medicals to ensure that they are fit enough to be in a Mines Rescue team.
